VISIT 6/9 INSTRUCTIONS
14-16 HOUR OVERNIGHT SLEEP ASSESSMENT WITH MORNING ORAL GLUCOSE TOLERANCE TESTING VISIT

University of Utah Hospital, located at 50 North Medical Drive Salt Lake City, UT 84132
Please meet our research staff in the main hospital lobby. Our staff will escort you to the research room on the 3rd floor (Neuro Acute Care). Please note if our staff are struggling to find you in the lobby, they may call you from their cell phones.
You can use valet parking for free.
Your arrival and approximate end times specified in the text reminder are based on the data collected so far in the study.
Please remember to arrive to the appointment having already eaten dinner (no food or drink except for water). A meal will be provided after OGTT testing is completed.
Please wear your Actiwatch and Activpal and bring the Dreem Headband, your sleep log and something to do during your free time.
and any necessary toiletries, you can brush your teeth before bedtime and after final saliva collections in the morning
Be sure to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes, including clothes to sleep in. An IV will be placed in your arm for the duration of the morning visit.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you will be required to wear a mask during the visit. We will also ensure physical distancing when your mask is taken off to drink water or eat food.
