VISIT 6/9 INSTRUCTIONS

3-4-HOUR MORNING ORAL GLUCOSE TOLERANCE TESTING VISIT

  • University of Utah Hospital, located at 50 North Medical Drive Salt Lake City, UT 84132

    • ​Directions

    • Please meet our research staff in the main hospital lobby. Our staff will escort you to the research room on the 3rd floor (Neuro Acute Care). Please note if our staff are struggling to find you in the lobby, they may call you from their cell phones.

    • You can use valet parking for free.

  • Clinical Translational Science Institute on the University of Utah campus, located at 421 Wakara Way, Suite 360, Salt Lake City, UT 84108.

    • This is the same location where your medical screening took place

• The target bed and wake times specified in the text reminder are based on the data collected so far in the study.

• Please remember to fast for a targeted 12 hours prior to this appointment (no food or drink except for water). A meal will be provided at the end of the appointment.

• Please wear your Actiwatch and Activpal and bring the Dreem Headband, your sleep log and something to do during your free time.

• Also be sure to wear comfortable clothes as an IV will be placed in your arm for the duration of the visit.

• Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you will be required to wear a mask during the visit. We will also ensure physical distancing when your mask is taken off to drink water or eat food.
